Parents,

First of all I would like to thank all of you for coming to our Spring Concert this past Wednesday night. It was a really fun night, and everyone involved did a tremendous job! My sincere apologies goes out to those students who were not listed on the program. I will be fixing those programs and making sure those students get a copy of the program with their names on it.

Also, I want to remind everyone who is coming back to band that Ramblewood Middle School is hosting an awesome band camp the first 2 weeks after schools ends. The camp is everyday from 1-4pm at Ramblewood. There is also a really big concert at the end of that. Please make sure you sign your students up if you are still in town. I will be there working with the clarinet section. If your students lost the flyer I have some extra ones. You can also e-mail Mr. Nista at john.nista@browardschools.com.

The next thing is we have a Awards Social going on Thursday May 29th at 7pm in our cafeteria. Every student will get an award, so please make sure you and your family attend. This will be a really fun night as well as a farewell to our 8th graders.

Finally, please remind your students that they need to be practicing this weekend for our finals next week. They need to know their scales. Also, don’t forget about the practice logs that are due the last week of school. They need to have 8 weeks worth of practice logs for 800 points. Today I will be upgrading their grades so you can have a better idea of how they are doing in class.
