Orchestra Rehearsal

This Thursday, March 20th, our orchestra will be having a very important rehearsal after school from 3:45-5pm. All members of our orchestra are required to attend. Next week we will be getting evaluated, so this rehearsal is extremely important. Also, we will have a guest conductor here to work with our students. Please make a note of this.

CHEEBURGER CHEEBURGER FUNDRAISER

Parents,

           This Thursday, March 20th, we will be having a fundraiser at Cheeburger Cheeburger in Coral Springs from 4-9pm. All you have to do is have dinner there, or take food to-go, and we will get 20 percent of what we make that night. So, please make plans to support us by having dinner there. This is a great restaurant with burgers, fries, milk shakes, and many other things your students will love. Please make sure you take a flyer so they know you are with us.

CAR WASH CANCELLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Parents,

     Due to the lack of ticket sales we will be putting off our car wash until late April. Most of the money we make generally comes from pre-sale, so we want to try and do a lot better. I apologize for any inconvinience this might have caused. Thanks for your continued patience.

CAR WASH

Parents,

     We need your help! This Saturday we will be having our car wash fundraiser. The following things are areas of need for the fundraiser:

 1) We need as many students helping out as possible. We will be having a shift from 9-11 and from 11-1.

2) We also need lots and lots of good quality pictures that we can use for our website and our end of year slide show.

3) We need tickets to be sold. Every student should have recieved 2 tickets to sell for 5 dollars a piece. Please help us by selling as many tickets as possible.

4) We need donations for this car wash. We need everything from soap, to buckets, to sponges, and so on. Most importantly we need old rags and towels to dry the cars.

Also, I would like to remind you that the girls are not to wear bathing suits. Please make sure they wear appropriate casual clothes. The car wash will take place at Wendy’s on Wiles Road and University. Please bring your students to help us wash the cars. If some of you can stay to chaperone that would help as well. If you have any questions the best way to reach me is by e-mail.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Congratulations to all of our wonderful orchestra students that participated in this weekends Solo and Ensemble Festival. The following students recieved a SUPERIOR, which is the highest rating one can recieve from this event.

3) Quintet- (Daniel V. Danny S., Emily G., Joshua M., Paul S.)

These students did a tremendous job, and the judge had incredible things to say about thier playing!
