On October 8th, fifty-two lucky members of the CSMS Music program got the chance to take a field trip to Miami to visit the New World Symphony, and observe a practice session before an upcoming weekend concert.
At the end of the practice there was an opportunity to talk with musicians and get autographs. Pictured here are some of our music students getting a look at conductor Michael Tilson Thomas’ sheet music. Click HERE for a larger image.

Remember that we have our fundraiser on Friday May 29th at Barnes and Noble on University Drive in Coral Springs. Bring your flyer or just tell the cashier at check out that you are from Coral Springs Middle School and a portion of your purchase will automatically be donated to the music program.

CONGRATULATIONS to all students who participated in solo and ensembles this weekend! We had 39 students receive superiors. Superior is the highest rating that a student can receive. Way to go!
