In no particular order: Your Quotations database is a wonderful resource, a real contribution to the net community. I run a public library on Kauai (Hawaii) and am buidling a ready reference Web page. I've been searching for a good quotations site. The 1901 Bartlett's on the Bartleby Project page is ok for old stuff, but until now I have not found a good resource for modern quotes. Your categories are very well chosen and useful. Thank you for doing all of this work. It will be a real help to a lot of web users doing quotes research and trying to track down "that particular quote.
Thank You. I just wanted to let you know that Poets' Corner is one of the most wonderful web pages in terms of usefulness and also for pure enjoyment. Being a student at Oklahoma State University I can't tell you the number of times that a professor or fellow student has made reference to an author or poem and I was able to quickly find either on this page. Continued enjoyment to you and thanks for taking the time to do something like this. I really appreciate it. Sincerely, Kori McClurg Dear Mr. Spanoudis, I just want to say thank you for the poetry. I found a poem on this site that my Mom had been seeking for years. Every time I went into the library I would page through numerous volumes searching, searching. Now, after she has been dead for a year I have found it - "Around the Corner I have a Friend"
Sincerely, Thank you I live outside a town of 200(people) in Western Colorado. We have a very poor library system. I just want to tell you thank you. Through your efforts I can do my research at home....instead of travelling 75 miles through bad weather to the nearest college library!! Curielle Subject: I Spy page Just a note to tell you how much we liked your game. We're adding it to the book (see below.) best, JP
Jean Armour Polly I am a frequent visitor of your excellent WWW page with a collection of the best poems written in English. You most certainly deserve a hearty commendation for doing such a wonderful job. You have certainly filled my life's duller moments with such exquisite song collection which can only lift up my sullen spirits. I truly praise you for a job well done!! Thirulok Vedarajan Thanks for a great web page. It's folks like you that make my Internet account worthwhile. Art Schwalbenberg (Poets' Corner): Congratulations for this wonderfull site ! Congratulations for the time of human's sensibility in the technology sea!

Family Internet Directory Online (Poets' Corner): Just located this site via a note in the NY Times yesterday. It is great. Thanks very much for making this available. It will provide much soothing in the midst of a busy day's work. Again, thanks.

Steve,
Your new fan, (Poets' Corner): I expect you are very aware of the very positive comments made about your Web Site in today's New York Times in an editorial by Denise Caruso. If you haven't read her editorial about the importance of amateurs, you should. We need more uplifting thoughts, ideals, and emotions to offset some of the more corrisive effects of pop culture. Thanks for going above and beyond in doing your part. Jerry Corbin Hi! I love poetry and although I don't share the same taste as you do (you're far classier than I :-) I think your site is great. You've done a really nice job writing it. I'm very impressed. Have a great day! Christine Lynn Hill I've been searching for that poem by W.H. Auden for two hours on the Net. I finally tried your Poet's Corner and alas- there it was. Thank You so much. You are simply amazing, awsome, and many other colorful adjectives I don't have time to type down. Now I'll know where to look, the next time I want to find an elusive poem.Thanx again. Autumn About PTC: I'm impressed with what you did with the web site you've established. I'm the production manager at Fina's polystyrene site in Carville, La. and found your site while searching for Fina. I'm glad to see some people in the plastics industry are taking the initiative to establish a presence on the web. I know that most if not all the professionals that are currently graduating or will graduate in the future will be very adept at using this resource. Your site is set up better than most with fast access and an obvious effort to make it efficient to the user. Good luck in your venture. Don Courtney Hello! I want to say first that I've enjoyed your poetry website. Some people say that the Internet is robbing us of a love of the written word, but your site easily proves them wrong. Melissa J. Butler Congratulations. As I said in my last email message, you will be getting a prominent listing in our Ultimate Poetry Site as a "Cool Site." You are the first recipient of this award.
Adam Conn, Director of Electronic Media, Hi Steve, Today was the first time I visited your web site. I read "The Best of Anonymous" and had to let you know how much I enjoyed them. It has been awhile since I just busted out with laughter. Keep up the good work it was great.
Thankfully, (Poets' Corner): I haven't really told you how much my wife and I appreciate your providing a site like this one. Finding Aiken's "Bread and Music," one of my favorite poems years ago but one which I had forgotten all about over the years, was a wonderful reminder of much that I had forgotten. I know that a tremendous amount of work has to go into what you've undertaken. Thanks for providing a place where people can access good poetry easily. Nelson Miller Thanks Steve! Your 'beautiful images' of Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park touched a spot in me that has been dormant for quite some time. I grew up in the area (Zachariah and Leeco) and had almost forgotten the shear natural beauty of home. Anxious to share your images with my co-workers and friends. The photos from around the world were breathtaking but in my opinion cannot hold a light to 'home'.
Thanks again. (Poets' Corner): I wish to thank you for your time and effort that must surely go into the maintenance of this remarkable site. I am disabled and it is very difficult to hold a book for a protracted period of time; your resorce allows me to copy poems that I enjoy and read at a more relaxed time frame. It gives me the ability to better appreciate poetry without the extraneous pain. Thanks Again for everything. Daniel
